Ahead DVD Copy can help you back up your DVDs. It has a nice interface divided into two panels: you can configure the input parameters in the first one or set the output configuration in the second.
The application supports either discs or DVD folders as source. Although you may decide to keep the original contents as they are, you can also shrink or split them. However, the tool supports copying only the main movie but excludes ancillary contents, such as credits, menus or other clips. As output, you can simply burn a disc or save the contents to a temporary folder. Unfortunately, the program does not allow creating ISO image files. Finally, if you are a novice and find the above procedures too complicated, you can also use the available wizard. Thus, by just telling the application what you want, you can complete the desired operation successfully. In addition, the program includes a built-in DVD burner, which, besides burning discs from images, can also erase rewritable DVD discs.
All in all, Ahead DVD Copy can do its job as described by its developer. It is a shame that it does not allow picking just specific titles from the original disc.
